Rebuild Our Homes is a partnership between a SunTrust Bank, Sheerah Real Estate & Investments, and Deerfield Beach Ministries CDC. Rebuild Our Homes restores bank owned foreclosed homes to their original condition, helping to restore home values in local neighborhoods. Because of this partnership we are able to help the community in important areas: - We provide jobs. We hire individuals from local communities to help us restore homes in their neighborhoods.
- We provide new homes for local families. We provide a first time home buyers program through which qualified buyers can purchase restored homes once they are inspected and approved by the cities.
- We help reduce the number of foreclosed homes, restoring revenue to the banks and stabilizing neighborhood housing prices.
 We are looking for skilled and unskilled men and women to help us restore homes. We must evaluate each home to see what work needs to be done to bring it up to code. This will tell us what skills we need. By creating an Individual Profile and filling out an application, we can match your skills to the work we have available, build a team of workers and get the job done.
We will build our job teams on a first come, first serve basis where skills and experience are equal. If you are an organization (church or community group) that wants to help, fill out an Organization Profile. The employees that are a part of your organization can choose your organization when they sign up. There is no guarantee that employees that are part of an organization will be grouped together. | | |
